Saving money with your Hydroponic garden using florescent lights

Now some may say that florescent lights don’t promote the best results with your Hydroponic gardens but if you want to save money and power then you should seriously look into them. One of the best florescent systems out there are My personal experience with them has been positive. It was costing me on average $40 to $45 dollars a month to run one 300 watt metal halogen light and only $12 to $15 a month to run a larger florescent system. Personally I could not tell the difference in growth rates and quality in my herbs. On top of the electricity savings from the lights the bulb replacements were fewer and cheaper to replace. Now I sure their will be some people that disagree but unless you try and compare both systems then you will never know. My goal is to make my indoor garden as energy efficient and environmentally friendly as possible.
