The other day I was visiting a friend that I haven’t seen in a few years. He has also been bitten by the Hydroponic bug and built an amazing system. Over dinner he started telling about this guild he found on the internet were he learned to build his own Hydroponic system. No I was a bit skeptical especially after all the experiences I’ve had but his system was amazing so I had to see what they were telling people.

I was a bit skeptical when buying the system, but I really wanted to see how good this guild was. To be honest I was a bit surprised at how easy they explained hydroponics and how it all works.  Granted this is not a system for the advanced grower as it touches on a lot of the basics. But if you’re just getting into growing this is a must. You can go to Home Depot and buy everything you need to get going and for cheap.

The biggest benefit of the guild is how it lays out a complete system that anyone can build. If your just getting into hydroponics this is a must. homemade-hydroponics.com

Indoor hydroponic gardening can be inexpensive, fun and provide fresh fruits and vegetables year round. For the beginner I would recommend buying a complete turn key hydroponic systemwith all the bells and whistles. Good systems will normally come ready to go with nutrients and setup directions. If you just want to get your feet wet a good start might be the Aero Gardens, their simple and easy to use. Now you can always peace everything together to make a growing system that fits your needs and that's fine to but not recommended for the beginners. Some questions you should ask to find the right system for you.

1. What space do I have available in my house?

2. What do I want to grow and how much?

3. How do I want to spend?

If you just want to grow fresh herbs on your kitchen counter top then the Aero Gardens are for you. They are low cost and easy to use. If you want to grow larger vegetables than a enclosed cabinet or open air system might be better. If operating cost is a issue than go for a fluorescent light system. This will save you a ton of money every month. Part 2 of this post coming soon!
